We had a beautiful time in downtown Utica. No matter how many times we visit, we always learn something new. This week we learned a little about how historic buildings have adapted to the changing times. No matter how historically important or beautiful a building -it was built for a purpose and we've seen that most buildings don't survive unless put to use. We hope some threatened buildings find function soon.
The Cooper Automotive Group thanks you for supporting the show and their gift to you this holiday season is a free DVD featuring an hour of uninterrupted footage from our first 3 years.
This limited edition DVD is free with any sale or service at your local Cooper Dealership. MVL viewers also get $5 off an inspection or oil change! Click here info and locations!

The Oneida County Historical Society is a tremendous resource. It is worth a visit just to experience the beautiful historic
building. Their ever-changing exhibits are
fun to explore. The end of this month, the
FunTrak sets up model trains that take
over the main floor.
Bev's of Downdown
Bev's of Downdown, a fine clothing store, has withstood the test of time. Bea Denemark loves her work and has been "where all the action is" for 54 years.
Back in the 50s, Bev's neighbor was My Boys, where Richard's mother would take him for clothes
Supreme Court Law Library
Located at 235 Elizabeth Street, in what used to be the fire station, is the Supreme Court Law Library. The building has been remodeled without sacrificing the beautiful architecture of the original building. Behind Richard you can see the original bays where the firetrucks were kept, now serving as beautiful windows.
You might think the big decisions are made in the Court House on Elizabeth Street, but everyone knows that they're made across the street at the Court Vue. Al Valeriano has been serving up good food fast for busy lawyers and others "in the know" for over 23 years.
This week only MV Living fans get a free homemade dessert with entree. Please accept one for the week. Open for breakfast and lunch Mon-Sat. Located across from the COurt House on Elizabeth.
Located in the old Hurd Shoe building is the modern JETNET company that catalogues data on business aircraft worldwide. The building was renovated, preserving its historical beauty, while still serving as a modern office space.
We get a tour of JetNet with Tony Esposito, owner and operator
