There's a lot of changes happening in West Utica, but some things, like Reynold's Hardware on Varick St., remain the same. Reynold's Hardware is over 100 years old. The Misiaszek brothers moved the business across the street in 1946 and built on the uniquely shaped vancant lot. They outgrew the original location, now Tom's Barbershop. Bob Misiaszek grew up in the business and now runs the store his father and uncle built.

Players new home in West Utica
Michele O'Neil, president of Players of Utica, shows us the future site of their new theatre on State Street. The project progresses based on the financial support they receive from the community. Since 1913, Players of Utica has entertained nearly one million people from all over Central NY.
Tiny's Grill
Known for its homemade food and great jazz and blues, Tiny's grill is a local tradition. The original owner and his son were both "Tinys."
A customer talks with owner, Joanne Gerace, about the day Tiny's came to the rescue when he and his bride's outdoor wedding reception plans were rained out and relocated to Tiny's.
Richard takes Joanne's advice and takes his first bite of Tiny's famous Limburger cheese sandwich with his nose plugged. "I'm doing this for my mom!"
