Welcome to Barneveld. It is always interesting how different each town feels. The Unity Hall in the center of the village reflects Barneveld's pride in their community's history, as do all the markers set out before historic homes and sites -it makes it possible to do your own impromptu walking tour. Make sure to get your tickets and get into the St. Patrick's Day spirit with the concert at Unity Hall this Saturday night.

Unity Hall
Built in 1896 as a Parish House for the nearby Unitarian Church, Unity Hall was heralded at its dedication as "the center of the best social and intellectual adjuncts of the moral and religious life of the
community". Today it is home to many community
events, such as this Saturday's performance by Cliudan
with the Butler School of Dance.
Cliudan performs with the Butler School of Dance at Unity Hall this Saturday.
Roughly 2½ miles of trails wind over 2,000 acres between Barneveld and Holland Patent, and contain forests, farmland and open sand plains. All of the trails start at the pavilion off Wood Road and all are well-marked.
Directions: Route 12 north to Mapledale in Barneveld. Turn left onto Mapledale Rd. Drive a quarter-mile and turn left on Wood Rd. Turn right on Sand Ridge Rd.
Lunch at Adirondack Lanes
We enjoyed some great food at Adirondack Lanes and Diner. We met up with the Singing Hill Seniors group for their regular bowling get-togethers.
