The Moose River Recreation Area stretches more than 16 miles between the two entrance gates, these state lands comprise the largest block of remote public land in the Adirondacks readily accessible by car. It consists of 50,000 acres purchased from the Gould Paper Company in 1963.
In celebration of the upcoming election we get a little political. We tour an amazing collection of rare presidential campaign folk art at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown and we visit with world famous pollster, John Zogby.

began as a failed run for Utica mayor. As a project for his college students, they projected by how much he would lose the election. He discovered he was pretty good at it and in 1984 Zogby International was founded. He just published a new book, The Way We'll Be.
"All hail Zogby, the maverick predictor who beat us all," proclaimed the Washington Post in November 1996 after Zogby alone called that presidential election with pinpoint accuracy.

This exhibit is just one of many reasons to visit the Fenimore Art Museum this year. This exhibit features folk art of nearly every medium devoted to presidential campaigns including paintings, needle- work, stoneware, redware, sculpture, and household items.
This rare exhibition runs through December 31st.

Clinton Historical Society
Located at One Fountain Street, the Clinton Historical Society is located in the former Clinton Baptist Church. A library has been set up and artifacts are on permanent display. The Historical Society is open to the public from 1:00 to 3:00 every Wednesday afternoon and 11:00 to 2:00 on Saturday for the public to view the exhibits.
