It's hard to believe that it has been nearly 3 years since our first Road Trip to Cooperstown. It was great to have fans of the show greet us this time. We were treated like royalty at the Otesaga (everyone is, of course, but we felt like celebrities anyway.) Even the Executive Chef, David Lockwood, came out to greet us and told us that he's a fan. Fun stuff.
Thanks for traveling with us,
Sharry and Lance

The recent wheat shortage and gas prices have caused wheat prices to skyrocket. No one is hit harder than small bakeries and pizzerias. Small mom & pop bakeries have survived many changes over the decades, but this one's going to be tough. Big O Bakery is owned by the father and son team, Orsaio. John Sr. married the baker's daughter and is now passing the business to his son.

Mohawk Valley Living is about discovering things people might not know about. Because everyone thinks 'baseball' when they think Cooperstown, we try to do everything but. We did, however, think that a book about the music of baseball would qualify. "Baseball's Greatest Hit, the Story of Take Me Out to the Ballgame,"is a book about the 3rd most sung song in the U.S. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the song. The book will be released on Opening Day in a couple weeks.
Tim Wiles, Dir. of Research, National Baseball Hall of Fame.
The book tells the story of Baseball's most famous song
The book will
