We try to get out to film in our favorite little city at least once a year. Little Falls is always a joy to visit, especially on a sparkling day along the canal. We were impressed with the number of young people returning and giving back to their city. There's something about Little Falls that seems to draw people to it -like it did centuries ago.

Local college student, Adam Jodway, has organized the Gram Lorraine Summer Hoops -a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to raise money to help disadvantaged kids get the school supplies they need to go back to school.
The beautiful Little Falls Canal Harbor is a perfect little canalside park with picnic area, information center, facilities and kayak rentals. It is the center of the Canal Celebration and where people gather to watch the fireworks or take a cruise with Erie Canal Cruises. The Harbor is located on Southern Avenue at the south end of the route 167 bridge in Little Falls, turn onto Bellinger St.

The Little Falls Community Bake Oven is listed on the New York State and National Register of Historic Places. The oven dates from 1891 when industrialist Alfred Dolge brought the
first group of Italian men here to an encampment near the oven and from which they would daily leave to build the Dolgeville to Little Falls railroad.
