with Mark Werchowski
From the beautiful St. Peter's Church overlooking 4th Lake in the Adirondacks, to the rolling hills of Cooperstown, to visiting with dedicated young actors in Utica, we felt extremely privileged this week. Not only because we to live in such an amazing area, but also because we get to bring these uplifting images to our audience. Thank you for making this program possible and thanks for traveling with us,
Lance and Sharry

HP Hood LLC
With all the local dairy farms populating the hillsides of the Mohawk Valley, we decided to visit HP Hood, a local processing plant in Oneida. Hood was founded in 1846 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. It employs about 200 people at its facilities in Oneida.
Another hair net for Richard and another 16 million mini- creamers produced this week at HP Hood in Oneida.
WMCR 106.3 FM
Operations Manager, Joel Meltzer, gave us a tour of the WMCR Radio station, one of the few remaining locally owned independant stations in the county. One of their most popular show is the Trading Post, where people can buy and sell local items.

The Wonderful Wizard of Was
August 22-23-24
Our own, Richard Enders, stars as the Wizard of Was in this For the Good Inc. production. The youth of Utica and Cornhill are joining forces with The Stanley Center for the Arts to bring this production to the newly renovated world stage.
This parody of Frank Baum's children's classic, written by Cassandra Harris-Lockwood, features the most memorable songs from The Wiz and The Wizard of Oz. The play tells the story of the young Utican, Dorothy, who prefers to be called DJ, seeking to rid her neighborhood of drugs and violence and restore life to the way it "Was."
